Friendly staff. Great atmosphere enhanced by live band Phoenix 5. The only downside were my crab cakes, couldn't taste any crab but my husband's steak was delicious

Wonderful atmosphere at the pub on a quiz night, great food, lovely friendly staff and beautiful location just by the little harbour. Loved it!

Called for drinks and a bit of food a couple of times this week (August 2024). Right on the sea front, overlooking Coverack bay. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Great service and good quality food. Pruces to be expected of a southern holiday spot but not excessive. £6/pint of Korev Cornish lager which is a nice pint, as is the St. Austell Tribute ale, similar price.

Standards seems to have dropped, the toilets were infested with flies. Kids food was terrible quality, think cheap burger van food. Adult food was standard pub faire, a little overpriced but cooked well. We normally eat here 3 times a week when on holiday, now I'm not sure we'll eat here again. Shame

I came here with my partner on the 28th of july and we loved the food and staff, they all deserve a MASSIVE pay rise for service, We ordered food and they asked if it was ok and if we enjoyed it and if it should be a regular meal, these ladies deserve £1,000,000 just for being the friendliest staff and having good conversion with xxx

Recently stayed a week in Coverack; had dinner here personally 3 times. Excellent every time! Fish and chips fresh and delicious; the Catch of the Day was amazing. Returned with friends just for that! Beautiful views all around;; helpful and friendly staff. Our first night we made a group reservation for 24, and they were prepared and handled it beautifully. Some of our group thoroughly enjoyed the Sunday roast, too. Highly recommend! Clean and bright.

During our visit to Paris Hotel, the experience was mixed, warranting a three-star review. On the upside, the staff were notably amiable, going out of their way to accommodate requests, and the atmosphere was buoyed by friendly locals and a good selection of beers. However, several aspects left room for improvement. The food, although generally cooked to order, was inconsistently seasoned. Particularly, the steak, while perfectly cooked, was overwhelmingly salty, overshadowing its quality. Similarly, the chicken was too salty, which was disappointing. The chips and peppercorn sauce did meet expectations, and the onion rings were average. The menu initially appeared inviting but led to disappointment as many items we were interested in were sold out, and we were not informed until after we tried to order them. This lack of communication extended to the front of house. Starters were a mixed bag; the calamari was enjoyable, but the crab cakes lacked flavor and were forgettable. In conclusion, while the Paris Hotel offers a welcoming environment and friendly service, the dining experience requires better consistency in food quality and improved communication about menu availability.

Saw the 4.3 rating, didn't have high expectations but it was close to where we were staying. Very friendly welcome couldn't have been more helpful. Sun came out, we had 2 dogs so we ordered a beer and a deliciously fresh carvery and sat on the garden. What a beautiful location watching the fishing boats. Superb!
